Chinese New Year holiday akan tiba....

Entah apa plan nak bakal aku tempuhi kelak (cewah... bahasa - bakal aku tempuhi indah... Sik kesah... Ko ada? Sik ada nak...) time CNY (Chinese New Year - lewat juak sik tauk singkatan CNY)... My bestfriend has a plan so aku ngekot jak sebab surprise tek nak... Mun atang gila kelak nang gila benar... biasa mun cuti pendek camtok mesti mekorg organize party... paling ku suka, Backyard BBQ party... kumpulan kecik jak... lelah aku nak bekerja nak molah majlis besar-besar... Walaupun aku sik suka gilak nak makan tapi rindok bah molah majlis cam tok, dapat tetak rami-rami, lepak dengan member nak lamak sik dijumpa pas ya alu molah cerita imagine pelik-pelik... Okay, sebut pasal cerita, banyak benda nak dicerita aku time cuti kelak tapi sik la aku nak bercerita sitok... bukan kitakorang paham pun... Pernah sik ktkorg molah apa nak dicerita aku pas tok? Ok, cam tok ceritanya... dolok-dolok dalam tahun circa 2002-03, kakak aku tok berjiran dengan org Cina, time CNY nya dgn family nya sik ketinggalan nyambut juak sebab tempat perumahan nya diam ya nang mengamalkan konsep 1Malaysia even sebelum konsep ya dilancarkan. So, balit kepada cerita tek, nya pun ngias rumah nya dengan dak tanglung, benda merah-merah sik ku tauk nama nya lalu urg nak sik tauk tek mikir rumah ya tek milik org Cina... tapi best bah... malam malam nangga fireworks, mercun... Best bah join nyambut CNY tok... sik salah ktkorg di luar ya try bah... Macam herba-herba masakan Cina pun best, ada sigek ya sik ku tauk nama, dimasak dengan manok, polah sup, nyaman bah, pakei ngubat panas badan... Honestly, aku banyak belajar culture org Cina dari kawan-kawan Cina aku, contohnya macam housemate aku, walaupun nya half-Chinese tapi lifestyle nya banyak juak ngekot Chinese culture... Banyak benda aku belajar especially part masakan, cara molah pau, cara milih dak rempah dengan herba sampei ke cara makan ikan... pantang-larang sidaknya, budaya & macam-macamlah... saja rindok nak ambik tauk bah sak kita saling memahami budaya org, so fikiran kita pun akan lebih tebukak kata org... Apa pun, Selamat Tahun Baru Cina kepada semua.....

Allergic To Ringtones...

Baru pulih dari demam but still batuk-batuk because of my 'A class' allergic reaction. Kena debu sikit, batuk...kena asap sikit, batuk... but there's 'hikmah' besides all.. like : allergic gives me stronger immunity... (syukur Alhamdulillah) Since I've had the title 'Allergic' to my post, let me explain some of my list of 'allergy factor'... Kerna aku tek terjumpa sigek blog nak makei bahasa Sarawak, so aku rasa rindok juak nak ber-blog nguna bahasa dirik empun... benar sik?? Aok, kelaka pasal allergic tek... aku tok mudah nak allergic, dari debu nak sikit ya sampei ke bunyi ringtone handphone pun aku allergic... sik heran tak orang nengar ada orang allergic ngan bunyi handphone... entah la aku pun sik tauk kenak... bunyi ringtone tok nyakit telinga aku jak... ya lah handphone aku silent mode ajak... "Kenak kau sik nyaut telipon tek?" "Siney ko tek? Telipon sik dijawab kau..." Cam ya lah org selalu madah tapi sik ku peduli... Entahlah kenak ku sik suka bunyi ringtone nak kinek tok (polyphonic)... Nak makei lagu? lagik la aku sik suka... Tengah kita berjalan di shopping complex alu tiba out of nowhere alu keluar bunyi lagu... pas ya semua orang nangga kita (tindakan refleks)... Sik ku maok attention jenis macam ya... Bukan apa, dari penggunaan ringtone ya org mula membaca (judging) kita.... Lalu berbisit lah org tek, "Eii.. ada juak makei lagu kedak ya pakei ringtone" "Sikda lagu lain kah?" "mintak perhatian lalu juak," barangkali gia lah kali dalam hati urg nak berbisit dgn kawannya time sidak nengar lagu nak keluar dari handphone urg... Ya cerita aku ajak, sik pernah terjadi... cuma imaginasi ajak bah... nak sebenarnya aku tok kali rindu ngan ringtone monotone zaman dolok marek... time agik Nokia 3310, time Ericcson belum bergabung dengan Sony, time belum ada colour screen, time, screen handphone gik warna ijo... Rindu aku dgn tpon aku nak ilang ya... Yah... kelaka allergic lalu jadi handphone... ada lah juak kaitan sebab aku allergic dgn ringtone..........

TV-series

I'm a huge fan of Hollywood TV-series, name it : Gossip Girl, 90210, Pretty Little Liars, Glee, Hellcats, No Ordinary Family, Heroes, Ben-10, Young Justice, Transformers Prime, The City... I love them... These are the titles I'd been watching... or currently watching... Some of them has come to an end like Heroes. There will be no new season of Heroes. All the actors are too busy to commit to the show & makes it hard for the producer to gather them all (too many characters/ lead roles/ recurring roles in this series) while each of them are having new projects (courtesy of Heroes - they made it to the bigger sets). What I heard recently was that Heroes will be made into a bigger project; to completely end the most watched TV-series; at the same time answering the viewers questions. It was said that this 'Heroes : The Movie" will explain it all. Farewell, Heroes...

Gossip Girl... (now in it's 4th season, still in a mid season break & will be aired next week)

Why do I love Gossip Girl? What makes me so into it? My answer is : The 1st novel titled 'Gossip Girl' by Cecily Von Ziegesar. Back in 2005, a good friend of mine bought it. It's New York Best Selling novel & of course it's worth reading. So I borrowed from her & read it. It's irresistible & I wanted more so I bought all of the novels. In 2007, there's this news about Gossip Girl TV series & I started wondering whether it's based on the book or an absolutely different thing. Thanks to the internet, my question's answered. Gossip Girl TV-series based on the book of them same title, written by Cecily Von Ziegesar. WOW! That's all I could say at the moment. It's worth the wait & finally, it's on TV. But then..... it's nothing like the book. Well, of course it won't be the same. If they gave the same story as the book, at 1st the book fans will love it but it's not fun anymore knowing what will happen next. As for me? I love both version: book & TV... I'm glad both Blake Lively & Leighton Meester play the part of Serena van der Woodsen & Blair Waldorf respectively. They really potray the girls exactly like in the book (as hot as described too...). Well, there's a disappointment too. I hate to tell but there is... Jennifer Tallulah Humphrey @ Jenny Humphrey... Jenny on TV and Jenny in the book are two different personalities. What's disappoint me most is - Jenny at the end of Season 3. Why did they make her character like that? I don't even understand. It's like she's on crack or something... Another disappointment: Juliet Sharp in Season 4, I don't think her reason is strong enough to hunt down Serena (which she actually succeeded)... Turned out it's Lily that she should hunt. Can't wait for further episodes...

90210 is a spin-off of 80's Beverly Hills 90210. When I 1st watched it, it thought it's boring but after I watched further episodes, I started to like it. Not as much fun as Gossip Girl but it still has a class of its own. Among all the characters, I really like Naomi. She might be your typical Queen B in school who you love to hate but her true self revealed clearly the whole series. Like most people, she has problems too. She's also a good friend. That's why her friends love her (Ade, Silver, Annie). There are characters who I feel like I want to punch them in the face. One of them is Dixon. Everybody's a teenager before but never did we made such stupid decision: hmm I don't want to make a list here... but still he's a good brother to Annie. Another is Mr Cannon. He's a total psycho & deserves the electric chair. I hate what he's done.
